We've had a really busy summer but there's no rest for the team at First Travel Solutions (FTS).

It's show time and we've confirmed our attendance at a number of key events during October and November.&nbsp;

We kickstart by exhibiting at Coach &amp; Bus Live on the 4th and 5th of October. The show is held at the NEC in Birmingham. We're on stand E33 so if you're planning a visit to this year's event make sure you pay us a visit - you're guaranteed a warm welcome by the team.

During November we'll be attending the ETOA Global European Marketplace (GEM) from the 2nd until the 4th in London. That's quickly followed by the World Travel Market event also in London from the 6th until the 8th of November.

We're dusting off our comfy shoes to make sure our feet don't get too sore! Hope to see you at one or all of these shows in the coming weeks.

The closure of Kingswood venues and company administration is very sad, not only for Kingswood and its excellent staff team, but also for the school groups who will be affected and who may now miss out on their booked trips this year.

Grinton Lodge is a 19th-century former shooting lodge that has been a youth hostel since 1948. It is a Grade II listed building, situated above the village of Grinton, in beautiful Swaledale, just 9 miles from the market town of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Why are school trips important?

It is without doubt that school residential trips are a rewarding and positive experience for children during their time in education.
